So Laura is better and getting her strength back, hurray! I however have some horrible infected mozzie bites on my legs and feet, Urgh! I had 3 nurses (La, Tamara and Fikri) applying Iodine and bandaging me up this morning, nice to be looked after!
Chris the Swiss will be back from his trip up the mountain this afternoon and its business as usual for us. Planting trees today- no elephants to mess things up any more, they have now moved on to pastures new. We WILL leave our trees in this rainforest!!!! Oh yes we will. Pictures to come!
My new homestay is less than comfortable, I feel a bit like one of those Indian Yogis that lie on a bed of nails. A bed of nails with bugs on. Last night I lay there during the most incredible thunderstorm i have ever heard reading Bram Stoker's Dracula. Have you read that? I mean, I know you know the story but have you read the book??? It is SO scary!! Especially at night during a thunderstorm when the lights keep going off. Scaryyy!!!
