Once in a Lifetime

I'm not even going to attempt to describe the experience of boating down the river back to the village and discovering that the herd have moved onto the bank to bathe. I can't possibly convey how incredible it felt to see 24 wild elephants playing, washing and tending to their young METRES away and then to hear the terrifying rumble that was a warning to us that we were getting too close.

I'm not going to bother expressing how awe struck we were as we watched the interaction between the huge beasts, a mother helping her tiny calf who kept falling in the mud, and two playful males play-fighting and knocking their tusks together whilst in the water.

It would be a waste of time. No words can convey to you how incredible it was.

I am so lucky. It just goes on and on.
