Elephants have decided to camp with the tourists in the Eco camp so us volunteers had to build fires in strategic places to stop them destroying the camp and trampling people! Ha! (See pic below of water container after elephant confrontation!) Only seen the back of one in very long grass so hopefully today is the day we get a good gander of the beauties.
Guess who is doing Mt Kinabalu again?? Yep, a day after we get back from Semporna we are off up the mountain for 2 days. Yahooo!
I seriously could not be happier. This a trip of a lifetime. Every day something amazing happens. Like lightning in the clouds on a totally calm, rain free night. Killer sunsets. Rhinoceros hornbills. Malaysian micky takers poking fun. Cheeky monkeys everywhere. Leeches sucking!! Smiles and more smiles from everyone!!!
Well you certainly seem to be having a wonderful time. Just make sure you don'y get trampled by a herd of elephants, or fall off that mountain.xxxxxxx
